COVID-19: POOL UPDATE

Updates to opening the community pool-
If current environmental and health conditions hold, the community pool will be ready for a Friday May 22 open. However, the pool will open with the restrictions and guidelines passed down to us through the city, county, and state. These guidelines will change the normal operational and behavioral conditions at and around the pool, and in return the residents must be willing to change their normal pool behaviors and expectations.
Major changes to the pool during this restricted time include
·         Pool area and clubhouse will be limited to 35 people (plus staff)
·         No guests will be allowed during a limited capacity restriction- Residents only
·         Social distancing will be maintained
·         Hours will be reduced from 10AM till 6PM
·         Residents should regulate their time to an hour so to make available openings for other residents
·         Frequent cleaning of the area will be conducted throughout the day (Best practice for virus transmittal mitigation)
·         Waivers will be signed before entering pool area (Best practice for insurance risk mitigation)
o   Under 18- Legal guardians must sign before entering the pool
·         No masks will be used on pool deck (Best practice for equipment damage mitigation)
o   You must be personally willing to accept some risk
·         Zero tolerance for abuse of pool staff or anyone trying to enforce the pool rules

There are a host of challenges and issues that come with these rules but none of which cant be settled by understanding that you are homeowner of a community.
If these challenges prove to be too much, the pool will move to a pool by appointment system.
We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause and ask that our residents please follow
the current rules that have been set to ensure the safety of our community.
